RADON TESTING SERVICES FOR REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONALS

Let us help your clients stay safe and healthy in their home. Have Radon Investigators test your clients homes for radon.  

• We place a continuous monitor in the lowest living level of your clients home, usually the basement.
• 48 hour test
• Monitor is small 8x6 and sits on a tripod stand.
• Monitor is harmless and makes no noise

• The radon measurement monitor must not be moved, covered or altered in any way.
• The monitoring device is harmless and the room with the monitor can be used normally.
• If the monitor is moved or tampered with, the test will be invalid and will have to be restarted.
• Keep ALL windows closed during test, including upper level windows.
• Keep ALL exterior doors closed except normal entry and exit.
• Heating and air conditioning systems that recirculate interior air can be operated normally.
• Do not use fireplace unless it is the primary source of heat.
• Window and attic fans should NOT be used.
• Bathroom and kitchen exhaust fans can be used normally.
• Clothes washer and dryers can be used normally.
• Air purifiers, dehumidifiers and portable humidifiers cannot be used near the test.

If the radon measurement result is at or above 4 pCi/L, the EPA recommends that actions be taken to reduce the radon levels.

Radon Investigators will recommend a mitigation company and help you clients with the process.

All measuring results and recommendations will be provided with authorization to the potential buyer(s) and real estate agents (buyer’s and listing).
